| It is important as a Primary Care Provider that you are aware of the therapy evaluation services offered through First Steps and School Systems for children with certain diagnoses causing developmental delays. | ||
| The First Steps program is for children under 3 years of age and provides evaluation through an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) with home or community-based services to address the needs of the child and family in their everyday routines and activities. For children over the age of three, an evaluation is performed by the school district through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for school-based therapy services. | ||
